Retinol (0.75%)

A form of Vitamin A known to improve the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring. This highly effective ingredient works by stimulating the production of collagen, increasing cell turnover rate, and improving the skin’s barrier function resulting in an overall smoother, brighter complexion.

Niacinamide

A form of Vitamin B3 that is known to improve the skin’s barrier function, increase the natural production of ceramides, and reduce inflammation. It also works to brighten hyperpigmentation by inhibiting the transfer of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes.

Sodium Hyaluronate

A water-soluble salt extracted from Hyaluronic Acid (HA). Unlike traditional HA, Sodium Hyaluronate has a much lower molecular weight. This enables it to penetrate deeper into the epidermis and hydrate the skin more effectively. Several studies have shown Sodium Hyaluronate promotes the production of beta-defensin 2 (DEFß2) - a compound that promotes tissue healing and decreases inflammation.

Copper Tripeptide-1

A small molecule peptide known to have anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It works by supporting the production of collagen and elastin.

Janiastim (Glycerin and Jania Rubens Extract)

A mineral-rich red seaweed extract that has been shown to promote collagen synthesis within the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

POLY-PORE® 120 RE

This patented delivery system is specifically designed to increase the stability of retinol while reducing skin irritation. It works by encapsulating the retinol molecules to minimize exposure to oxygen and light, while slowly releasing it into the skin through a combination of friction and diffusion. This slow release of retinol minimizes skin irritation, while allowing for a higher percentage of retinol within the formulation.
